Extra services are sometimes required for your horse's health and well being. Reasonable fees for assistance with medical needs including application of stable wraps and other bandaging, shots, wormers, etc. may be charged when applicable.

* Boarders are requested to provide lite, medium, and heavyweight turnout blankets. Horses blanketed according to our weather analysis.
Lakeside Stable works with you to customize a training program for you and your horse. Although we specialize in preparing horses for the hunter ring, we realize that many horse owners want a reliable companion, not a show horse.
Unlike many trainers, we want all of the horses we train to be well-mannered on the ground and well schooled on the flat. Most of our hunters can readily perform a first level dressage test.
Lakeside Stable can help your horse become the partner you desire and help you realize your riding goals - whether they be to win a class at Washington, pin at a local show, or overcome your fear of jumping.
Lakeside Stable offers private and semi-private lessons.
Beginning lessons include basic horsemanship, grooming, tacking, leading a horse safely as well as learning about equipment and basic horse anatomy.
For intermediate and advanced students we continue to focus on horsemanship and teach students about common equine veterinary problems and treatments and equine psychology.
We believe our focus on the individual sets us apart from the "lesson mills" and we look forward to assisting you to achieve your goals.
Lakeside Stable attends local and rated shows depending upon our client interests and goals.
We will work with you to develop a show schedule that best meets your needs be they qualifying for indoors or just having fun, or perhaps a little of both
